People nowadays are experiencing “banner blindness” wherein they mentally tune out the ads that they see. Thus, this could be the reason why your Facebook ads are not generating conversions.

TikTok, one of the platforms that influencers use, has now become the ultimate trend in videos. Why? The short and catchy videos are easy to create that even amateurs can create professional-looking effects. Thus, influencers have a simpler platform where they can share their content, garner a lot of views and engagement, and earn money from it.

Tip # 2 – Tap into Relevant Influencers

Don’t just sign up with the influencer just because he or she has a high number of followers and engagement. If they have an entirely different niche than yours, most likely their followers will have the same interests. 

Make sure to research well and keep a file with their details. Follow their social media accounts and engage with them so they will recognize you. Once you find the perfect influencer who has the same niche or interests as the brand you represent, they will become an extension of your brand. 

In addition, not just because they have a small number of followers means that they can’t be effective. Check out their engagement rates, too. If their audience is actively engaged and the influencer engages with them, then this would mean better exposure. 

Tip # 3 – Create an Outline and Templates

Once you have found your influencers, it’s time to reach out to them. Create message templates for introduction and for following up with them. Once they accept, your terms should be clearly outlined, too.

  • How long will the collaboration run?

They resonate with their audience because of their effective content and they know what captures their interest. Trust them with their content because they are already masters. You may also learn a thing or two about content ideas from them.

The only way you can gauge the success of your influencer marketing strategy is to check the analytics. You should track not just the likes and engagement rates but the sales. You may want to share tracked links to your products so it will be easier to check conversions. If you are an Amazon seller, you can use the Amazon attribution links or even have them sign up for an Amazon influencer storefront. 


Influencer marketing does not only mean asking an influencer to post photos or videos of your products. Yes, their audience may see your products but that is not enough. You should have a clear marketing strategy outlined so both you and the influencer will profit from the campaign.
